System administrator over Windows 2003 servers including Exchange Server 2003 and Linux based content filter. Oversee network connectivity and implementation. Support WindowsXP , 2000, 98, Mac OS X, and Linux based operating systems. Support several software applications including the student management program. -Successfully transitioned Board of Education from a Windows NT domain to a Windows 2003 Active Directory Domain.

-Administered Postfix based email system. Successfully setup anti-spam and anti-virus for email using open source software Spamassassin and ClamAV.

3/2001 – 1/2004: Unix Consultant on Tuskegee University campus. Installed various engineering applications such as Unigraphics, Abaqus Hypermesh and Ansys, for the Sun Solaris Platform and perform technology support when requested.

10/1997 – 1/2004: Campus Technologies, Tuskegee University. Junior System/Network Administrator. Supported cross-plant form computing environment and assisted with software and network support. Install and test networking equipment including 3com and IBM switches, wireless access points and clients. Responsible for operating system maintenance and backup of Unix/Linux systems. Setup and configured Linux with Samba that served as the student file server. Managed LinuxDNS servers, running Bind 9, for Tuskegee University.

Summers of 06/1998 – 08/2000: Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Newport, RI. Student Electrical Engineer in Training. Assisted engineers in various projects, which included testing satellite communications and writing shell scripts to program newly, installed network equipment in case of failures. Assisted in creating documentation for setting up a Windows NT domain and MS Exchange Server.

Mac OS X/Unix/Linux: Install and setup Apache with virtual hosting and SSL.
